Pathogenetic features of the combined course of arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus 2 type

Abstract
In the article features of pathogenetic mechanisms of the combined course of arterial hypertension and type2 diabetes mellitus are considered. This pathology potentiates the development of micro- and macrovascularcomplications, raises cardiovascular risk. Concomitant abdominal obesity contributes to the imbalance ofadipocytokines, and complicates the course of type 2 diabetes. It was established that polymorphism of candidategenes associated with the development and progression of insulin resistance, which is of interest for further study.
