Pausar; una reflexión frente a las sendas recorridas: Una búsqueda plástica y epistolar para mirar(nos) en la velocidad actual y la pausa en el camino como una metáfora del transitar por la vida

Abstract
This article is born from an unexpected meeting with a family treasure; a series of epistles that my grandfather, Silvio Restrepo, wrote to his children as a way of accompanying them on their journeys through life. In one of them, named Los caminos, he addresses his youngest son, Juan David; there, he tells him why paths, walking, contemplation and pause are important to him. In this meeting I dis-covered that the path asked me for a pause; I felt that those teachings of my grandfather had also been written for me. I let myself be embraced by his words, and I began to reflect about the path as a metaphor for going through life.This journey takes as its language a series of plastic searches represented in threads and textile wefts, sketches, spots and lines; there, I find the pause in my daily life, and from it, a series of plastic objects arise where I record each of those reflections that emerge in my walk.With this article I invite the reader to pause, and in this way recognize himself as a walker.
