PECULIARITIES OF ARGOT TRANSLATION FROM ENGLISH INTO UKRAINIAN (BASED ON THE CRIME MOVIES SCRIPTS OF THE XX CENTURY)

Abstract
Basing on the replicas of the main characters of the English criminal film of the XX century, the authors analyzed the features of the argotismes translation from English into Ukrainian. The authors stated that the argot is mainly translated with the help of transformations of neutralization, emphatization as well as description. Modern English and Ukrainian argo is monosemic, and when translated, the argotismes cause certain difficulties due to their emotionally expressive coloring.
