Using several techniques the article discusses issues of mental and emotional state of patients in emergency department. The study in GU «Central Hospital» of Rybnitsa found, that patients being treated in the department of anesthesiology, emergency and intensive care often have a variety of negative emotional states, the degree of which varies depending on the frequency of being in departament
