Pedagogika i duchowość starszego wieku

Abstract
Artykuł jest próbą organicznego ujęcia pedagogiki iduchowości gerontologicznej– wychowania wperspektywie starości. Pedagogika ostatniego okresu życia ludzkiego jest jedną znajmłodszych dyscyplin pedagogiki ogólnej. Współcześnie obserwuje się jej dynamiczny rozwój, związany zglobalnymi zmianami demograficznymi, postępem medycyny oraz stale wydłużającym się wiekiem życia, stąd też wzrasta pozytywne postrzeganie problemu starości ipilna potrzeba nie tylko fachowej opieki lekarskiej, ale również właściwej organicznej edukacji gerontologicznej. Owartości życia nie decyduje bowiem liczba lat, ale to, czy było ono dobrze przeżyte oraz mądre ipięknie rozwijane. Istotny jest końcowy efekt (cel/kres) złożonego procesu nauczania iwychowania człowieka. Deklaracja owychowaniu chrześcijańskim widzi go nie tylko wperspektywie społeczno-kulturowej, lecz również wperspektywie transcendentnej (DWCH 1). Tekst wskazuje na antyczne ibiblijne źródła pedagogiki iduchowości „wjesieni wieku”, cele izadania tego typu edukacji, zwłaszcza wperspektywie celu ostatecznego oraz współczesne propozycje gerontologiczne.
