Abstract
The term pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infections (PANDAS) brings together a set of clinical manifestations, such as an autoimmune reaction after an episode of streptococcal infection. An analysis of the scientific literature published from 2019 to 2024 was done through a systematic review following the PRISMA methodology. The following scientific databases were considered: PubMed, Science Direct, and Elsevier, where they analyzed the topic, its clinical characteristics, diagnostic support methods, and therapeutic management that will guide toward a better assessment of this pathological entity. The complexity of this pathology generates initial confusion, with professional experience together with a detailed clinical history being the fundamental tools that effectively guide the comprehensive approach to the patient to avoid relapses or long-term sequelae. In this case, you will be able to complete the procedure
