Pengaruh Strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity Terhadap Kemampuan Membaca Pemahaman Kelas V SD Gugus 3 Kecamatan Gunung Sari

Abstract
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari strategi DRTA (Directed Reading Thinking Activity) terhadap kemampuan  membaca  pemahaman  siswa  kelas  V  Gugus  3 Kecamatan Gunung Sari, Kabupaten Lombok Barat tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent kontrol group. Penentuan sampel ini menggunakan Teknik Cluster Sampling (Sampel Area). Instrument yang digunakan  yaitu  tes  objektif  pilihan  ganda  dengan  materi cerita anak untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Pada tahap uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara hasil awal dan akhir kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Apabila hasil lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi 0.05 maka dipastikan adanya perbedaan kemampuan. Didapatkan hasil pretest kelas kontrol dan eksperimen sebesar 0.712. Hasil uji hipotesis posttest dari kelas kontrol dan eksperimen sebesar 0.000 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kemampuan membaca pemahaman sebelum dan setelah adanya perlakuan. Maka disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh dari penggunaan strategi DRTA terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman.
