PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA MTS AL HAKIMIYAH PARINGGONAN MATERI THAHARAH MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN JIGSAW

Abstract

Based on Fiqh learning, students' low interest in learning means that few of them achieve high learning achievements, learning lacks variety and monotonous use of less varied methods. In this problem, teachers need to carry out active learning on thaharah material which is centered on class VII A students of MTS Al-Hakimiyah Paringgonan, Ulu Barumun District, Padang Lawas Regency, totaling 20 students consisting of 8 male students and 12 female students which is carried out in the semester odd academic year 2023/2024. It is hoped that the use of the Jigsaw learning model can motivate students to study more actively, make learning more varied and fun so that it can improve student learning achievement. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in 2 cycles with one meeting in each cycle and consisted of 4 stages, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques in this research were carried out through observation sheets of learning activities, filling out questionnaires, tests and documentation which were used to support this research. The results of this research show that using the Jigsaw learning model in Thaharah material can improve student learning achievement. This can be seen from the increase in student learning achievement in cycle I and Fikih cycle II with the following results: in cycle I, the percentage of learning achievement was 8 students or 40% of students who completed, while there were 11 students or 60% of students who did not complete. In cycle II, the percentage of learning achievement was 17 students or 85% of students who completed, while there were 3 students or 15% of students who did not complete.
