Abstract
S. Kalinina, L. Davydyuk. Prerequisites for competition for human potential: the youth segment of the international labor market. The article deals with the development of the youth segment of the international labour market, the presence of territorial disproportions in the economic activity level of youth. It is emphasized that young people are the most mobile segment of the labor market and forms potential migration flows that are a manifestation of competition for human potential in the international labor market. The tendency of labor migration of highly skilled personnel to the developed countries is characterized.
