PERFECTIONISM OF PERSONALITY: NORM OR PATHOLOGY?

Abstract
The article deals with the important problem of psychology of perfectionism – the question of the ambiv- alence of the phenomenon of perfectionism, which is reflected in the normative and pathological tendencies of perfection personality. The modern approaches to the understanding of the phenomenon of perfectionism of the individual are analyzed. The predictors of normal and pathological perfectionism of an individual are empirically and statistically determined.
