Performance and Emissions Analysis Using Diesel and Tsome Blends

Journal Title: International Journal of Modern Engineering Research (IJMER) - Year 2014, Vol 4, Issue 9

Abstract

The present study covers the various aspects of biodiesels fuel derived from crude Tobacco oil and performance emissions study on four stroke compression ignition engine with Tobacco seed oil. Crude Tobacco oil is converted to Tobacco seed oil methyl esters by transesterification process. The obtained bio-diesel fuel properties are measured. The performance and emission parameters obtained by the above are compared with the base line data obtained earlier by using diesel and optimum Tobacco seed oil blend is obtained. The performance parameters obtained by the above tests are to be compared with diesel base line data and optimum blend B5
