PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF LEASING COMPANIES

Abstract
The article involves discovering current approaches to the performance assessment of leasing companies. Three basic approaches to the assessment of leasing companies – internal, evaluation of investment attractiveness and rating were investigated. The authors proposed to evaluate the effectiveness of leasing company activity on the basis of a balanced scorecard and provided its interpretation. The indicators to measure the effect of balanced scorecard implementation in leasing companies were identified. The approach of integrated assessment of the success of implementing and maintaining of a balanced scorecard using the desirability function was proposed. Developed methodical recommendations for performance assessment of leasing companies are aimed at improving the quality and reliability of analytical procedures, which in turn will contribute to make adequate management decisions regarding the disposition of resources, strengthening of the financial condition and intensification of leasing activity.
