Performance Of OLSR Routing Protocol Under Different Route Refresh Intervals In Ad Hoc Networks
Journal Title: International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering - Year 2011, Vol 3, Issue 1
Abstract
An ad hoc wireless network consists of mobile terminals communicating with each other without the help of traditional infrastructure for communication. Optimized Link State Protocol (OLSR) is a proactive routing protocol, wherein routes are discovered and updated continuously and available when required. Route refresh interval time plays a very crucial role for scalable networks with constrained bandwidths. In this paper we propose to evaluate OLSR routing protocol in a high mobility network with different route refresh intervals. The throughput and delivery ratio are also studied to evaluate the efficiency of the routing protocol

A Simple Algorithm for Detection and Removal of Wormhole Attacks for Secure Routing In Ad Hoc Wireless Networks
The infrastructure of a Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) has no routers for routing, and all nodes must share the same routing protocol to assist each other when transmitting messages. However, almost all common routing pro...
THE DESIGN OF A RIG FOR THE DIECASTING OF AL-SI PISTON
Pressure die casting is the process where molten metal is forced by pressure into mould. The usual pressure is from 10.3 – 14 MPa. This is the design of an experimental rig for pressure die casting of an Al-Si alloy auto...
