PERILS OF EU’S MIGRANT CRISIS – GEOPOLITICAL AND DEMOGRAPHICAL ASPECTS

Abstract
The European continent is experiencing a wave of migration of the proportions unseen since World War II.It has shaken the European continent more than any other geopolitical process, threatening to completely destroy the values that were the basis of European political and economical order. This Paper is focused on discoveringthe roots and causes of the migrant crisis and their possible concequences in a short and middle term period. Therefore, Islamic factor is here observed as a geopolitical object used in the processes of destabilization of Europe for several reasons: their geopolitical position, energy resources, demographical and religious strenght. Special interest of analysis is focused on the demografic aspect of crisis and the population problem of European nations. With all this processes and factors taken into the consideration, final part of this Paper is trying to desribe the actions of stuctures of radical Islamism and its conjuction with geopolitical interest of Americanism/Atlantism which is indirecly pushing it against Europe with the intention to create new turmoils and conflicts with unforeseeable political, economic, demographic and religious consequences.
