Personalistyczny podmiot literacki

Journal Title: Przegląd Humanistyczny - Year 2016, Vol 60, Issue 1

Abstract

The article raises the issue of subjectivity in literature as well as methods of its description and research in postmodernity. It is based on the concept of a person in the Christian personalism and the views of other philosophers and psychologists stating that a person is a deep, spiritual structure inside a human being defined by the deep need, which is constitutive for a person’s identity, to be in relation to the transcendence, sacrum, God. On the basis of this concept the tool was proposed for the study of subjectivity in literature – a concept of personalistic literary subject. This research proposal takes into account the fundamental postulates of the mentioned concepts of a person, in particular its relatedness and the meaning of the relation to transcendence, to sacrum, God.
