PERSPECTIVES FOR DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM SPHERE IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article substantiates the importance of the development of the tourism sector of Ukraine in order to improve the country's economic development. The present state of development of tourist sphere in Ukraine at the national and international levels is researched. The changes in the volumes and structure of outbound and inbound tourist flows in Ukraine during 2011-2016 are analyzed. A generalized analysis of the dynamics of monetary revenues from the tourism sector to the GDP of Ukraine is presented. The problems of tourism development in Ukraine are defined and summarized. The main factors hampering the tourism industry in Ukraine are: the ineffective promotion of tourism products on the world market; tense political situation; outdated material-technical complex; rapid devaluation of the hryvnia. The alternative ways of overcoming the economic crisis and stabilizing the exchange rate are proposed, the main directions of the state policy that will contribute to the further development of the tourism sector in Ukraine are outlined.
