PERSPECTIVES OF LOGISTIC TRANSFORMATION OF UKRAINIAN RIVER PORTS

Abstract
A comprehensive analysis of the identification of the main factors of influence that necessitate the transformation of river ports into the main objects of the country's logistics system is carried out. The river port is represented as a central node in the commodity movement, as an element and cluster integrator of regional logistics systems of the country. Its purpose is to contribute to improving the ways of organizing logistics activities, functioning on the basis of innovative development, mobility and environmental protection. The expediency of expanding the range of services provided by river ports for servicing freight flows on the basis of outsourcing and their fulfillment in the long term as a typical logistics center are justified. The formation of an integrated infocommunication management system for freight flows and the liberalization of tariff formation are recognized as necessary conditions for transformation. Due to such decisions, the investment attractiveness of not only the river port, but also the prospective development of the economy of the regions located on the transit highways with the participation of the river ports of Ukraine. Problems of attracting investments into the industry have been identified. Prospective directions of diversification of river transportations as factors of development of economy of river ports of Ukraine are defined. The dynamics of cargo transportation by the main water arteries of Ukraine is analyzed. The analysis of the world experience in the transformation of river ports into nodal elements of complex logistics platforms and components of regional logistical clusters are analyzed.
