Abstract
The article is dedicated to the perspectives of reflecting the principle of justice in the housing policy of the state on internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the context of sustainable development of the Ukrainian economy. The article substantiates that the consideration of justice as a defining state-building principle and its role in shaping the strategy of solving housing problems of IDPs in the context of sustainable development of the Ukrainian economy should be of integrated nature. The author provides a profound analysis of the basic provisions of the national legislation on ensuring the right of IDPs to housing. The article gives special consideration to legal mechanisms of implementation of the right of IDPs to social housing and living quarters from the housing fund for temporary residence. The paper reveals he imperfection of legal mechanisms for the implementation of IDPs’ right to housing within the framework of the current legal field. The article also considers the necessity of developing effective mechanisms for the implementation of the right to housing by IDPs taking into account modern socio-economic changes in society. It is proposed to focus the state on the necessity of developing legal mechanisms for the provision of housing for IDPs by creating a separate housing fund for the temporary residence of IDPs, as well as the procedure for the distribution, provision and use of dwellings from this fund
