Pétrographie et minéralogiedes intrusions alcalines du domaine SASCA (Sud-Ouest de la Côte d’Ivoire, Craton Ouest Africain), comparaison avec d’autres plutons alcalins

Abstract
Alkaline plutons in southwestern Côte d'Ivoire, mainly in the SASCA domain (Okrouyo locality), are mainly composed of silica-saturated syenite massifs, which are pyroxene-amphibole syenites and amphibole syenites, as well as biotite granites. The chemical analysis of the mineral phases showed that the colored minerals are very rich in iron. These granitoid intrusions into biotite-amphibole gneisses display typically alkaline characters. The main mineral parageneses are composed of calco-sodium and magnesium-calcium clinopyroxenes, ferro-calcium amphiboles, biotites, orthoses, albites and rarely oligoclases. The chemical characteristics of these minerals could be attributed to an evolution by fractional crystallization.
