Phi Shape UWB Antenna with Band Notch Characteristics
Journal Title: Engineering, Technology & Applied Science Research - Year 2018, Vol 8, Issue 4
Abstract
In this paper a novel band notch antenna in UWB frequency range is designed using split rings. Split rings are overlapped with designed monopole to give phi shape. The slit gap gives band-notch operation from 5.1GHz to 6.29GHz and from 4.94GHz to 5.91GHz for SPSSR and SPSCR antennas respectively. Simulated and measured results are in good agreement.

A GTN-like Model for Plastic Porous Materials
An extended version of the well-known Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman (GTN) isotropic hardening model is presented in this paper. The yield function of the proposed constitutive model possesses the distinctiveness to explicit...
A 4-4.8GHz Adaptive Bandwidth, Adaptive Jitter Phase Locked Loop
A low power, low phase noise adaptive bandwidth phase locked loop is presented in this paper. The proposed structure benefits from a novel lock status monitor unit (LSMU) that determines loop operation and loop bandwidth...
Investigation of the Behavior of Steel Shear Walls Using Finite Elements Analysis
Currently, steel shear walls are considered by engineers as an economic method against lateral loads imposed by wind and earthquake in tall structures. Accordingly, there is a growing need to develop accurate methods alo...
Developing Situation of Tea Harvesting Machines in Taiwan
In recent years rapid social change and industrial and commercial development in Taiwan has lead to migration of rural labor, population ageing, high wages and labor shortages, which resulted in significant problems for...
Effect of Adaptation Gain in Model Reference Adaptive Controlled Second Order System
Adaptive control involves modifying the control law used by the controller to cope with the fact that the parameters of the system being controlled change drastically due to change in environmental conditions or in syste...
