PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA LITERACY IN TERMS OF LIFELONG LEARNING IN VISUAL AND CONCEPTUAL ART

Abstract

Visual art is about the eye. Ceramics, painting, sculpture, design, photography, tile and architecture are examples of these arts. Different kinds of arts such as performing arts, conceptual arts and sewing also have visual objects. The photograph, which means to write with light, comes from the roots of Greek, Greek and Latin. It consists of words of light and writing. Photo art is similar to painting art. The visual arts, photography and video, always influence our learning. Video art is different from television and cinema. Video, educates the human. Media art is to read and interpret media products. All people are affected by the media in society. Media messages are not objective. Negative media influence is increasing over time. Children of Mass Media people are the most affected. Media literacy in the world of work has begun after the negative effects. It has been following the developments in Turkey. The following is the subject of study: Communıcatıons, medıa and technology as contact medıa lıteracy ın Turkey of vocatıonal high school program ın place, the ımportance and ınvestıgatıon. Our work; It examines the study of photography and media literacy in terms of lifelong learning in visual and conceptual arts. This work, which deals with media, photography and technology, has benefited from critical approaches. In this study, the content of media literacy course in Turkey was examined in detail. Media literacy course is taught in communication profession high school. Technology and media are always affecting us in terms of lifelong learning. It is imperative for the individual and the society to become familiar with the contents of the media in order to educate them.
