Physicaleducación-sports and environment relationship; an unknown land?

Abstract
The existent relationship between physical education, sports with and environment are analyzed. In particular, there are deeply analyzed those specialties that are practiced in direct contact with nature, the cost and impact of the facilities needed to be built in those specialties that require it and the effects of spectators’ mass affluence. To accomplish this task theoretical and empirical methods were used. It is defended that when sports assumes a conservative ideology, it constitutes a suitable way to develop moral values and an environmental culture.
