Physiologist Vasyl Mykhailovych Arkhanhelskyi: from the assistant to the rector

Abstract
The article describes the path of life of a physiologist Vasyl Mykhailovych Arkhanhelskyi. His professional activity ran from the assistant to the professor, Head of Physiology and Biochemistry Department in Dnipropetrovsk University and Dnipropetrovsk Medical Institute, Director of the Research Institute of Physiology. The information about his participation in creation of Dnipropetrovsk Ukrainian University during occupation period has been presented for the first time.
