ПІДГОТОВКА УНТЕР-ОФІЦЕРСЬКОГО СКЛАДУ У ПОЛКОВИХ ШКОЛАХ ХАРКІВСЬКОГО ВІЙСЬКОВОГО ОКРУГУ У 60-ті рр. ХІХ ст

Abstract
У статті розглянуто діяльність полкових шкіл та навчально-виховні аспекти формування унтер-офіцерського складу Харківського військового округу у 60-ті рр. ХІХ ст. Визначено, що підготовка унтер-офіцерів була пов’язана з політикою імператорської Росії на українських землях. Проаналізовано навчальні програми, військову підготовку унтерофіцерського складу, негативні і позитивні риси діяльності полкових шкіл на території Харківського військового округу. The article tells about the activities of regimental schools and the educational aspects of non-commissioned officers of the Kharkov Military District in the 60-ies of XIX century. It determined that the training of non-commissioned officers was associated with the imperial policy in the Ukrainian lands. A curriculum, the training of non-commissioned officers, negative and positive features of the regimental schools in the territory of the Kharkov Military District were analyzed. After the introduction of military-district system in the Ukrainian lands in 1862 Russian government had a question of improving the training of non-commissioned officers. Noncommissioned officers, as sergeants and corporals in modern armies, were a link between officers and soldiers. Аctivities regimental schools of the Kharkov Military District became the basis for the further spread of education among recruits. Of particular interest is the study of the historical experience of non-commissioned officers training in the Ukrainian lands of the Russian Empire in the 60-ies of XIX century. A non-commissioned officer had to learn a lot of things to control the soldiers and to be an assistant officer. Mainly the best soldiers moraly and physicaly were selected to the classes. In the Kharkov military district recruits from among the Ukrainians had the opportunity to get military post in the Imperial army. The learning process also involved officers, among whom were immigrants from Ukrainian lands. The necessity of search of new conceptual bases of officer training in the Ukrainian Armed Forces dictates the feasibility of a comprehensive analysis of the main trends, characteristics of positive and negative features of training and education of officers in the past.
