PIXE ANALYTICAL METHODS APPLIED IN ENVIRONMENTAL
Journal Title: Journal of Science And Arts - Year 2008, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
Nuclear Analytical Methods can be used for research activities on environmental studies like water quality assessment, pesticide residues, global climatic change (transboundary), pollution and remediation. Prominent features of NAMs are sensitivity, selectivity, multielement determination and linearity of the calibration function. In this article we present the analytical methods PIXE Particle Induced X-rays Excitation) with applications in trace elements analysis on aerosol and antarctic samples.

THE APROACH OF CLASSICAL COMPUTER TO QUANTUM COMPUTER
The aim of this paper is to guide computer scientists through the barriers that separate quantum computing from conventional computing. We introduce basic principles of quantum mechanics to explain where the power of qua...
A PARALLEL SOLUTION OF TRIDIAGONAL LINEAR SYSTEMS BY CONTINUED FRACTIONS
In paper it is report the LU decomposition of tridiagonal matrix to evaluate continued fractions. Application of parallel suffix while applying parallel prefix products leads us to an optimal algorithm for LU decompositi...
Z-VALUED FUNCTION ON SEMIGROUPS, Z-VALUED SEQUILINEAR FORMS
ON AN INTEGRAL INEQUALITY
In this note we will present two proofs for an integral inequality. The first uses the Jensen’s Inequality and the second uses ingeniously the Cauchy-Schwartz Inequality.
PARALLEL SURFACES TO S-TANGENT SURFACES OF BIHARMONIC S-CURVES ACCORDING TO SABBAN FRAME IN HEISENBERG GROUP HEIS[sup]3[/sup][sup][/sup]
In this paper, we study parallel surfaces to [sup]S[/sup] - tangent surfaces according to Sabban frame in the Heisenberg group Heis[sup]3[/sup]. We characterize parallel surfaces to [sup]S[/sup] - tangent surfaces of the...
