Abstract
The views of I. Shrag on the problem of reforming the agrarian legislation of the Russian Empire as a deputy of the First State Duma were investigated. It was analyzed the participation of parliamentarians in the discussion of agrarian bills and the personal vision of solution the problem. It was shown the significance of I. Shrags’ activity for uniting Ukrainian deputies around the solution of the land issue taking into account interests of the Ukrainian peasantry.
