Abstract
Polemology as a study of war (polemos-war) includes in its range multidisciplinary scientific search of war conflicts stressing not only their description but also the ways of solving them and avoiding them. In this respect, it is important to move from war to peace, and in a broader meaning to security. Therefore, polemo¬logy is not a study of the art of war or tactics of waging combat operations but it reflects searching security perspective starting from the analysis of war. The methodological paradigm of polemology is connected with intra- and supra- disciplinary approach of war determinants and consequently approaches possible perspectives of exercising personal and structural security.
