Polityka regionalna Unii Europejskiej

Abstract
The paper looks at the regional policy (also referred as cohesion policy) of the EU. Its aim is to improve the economic well-being of regions in the EU and to remove economic and social disparities across the EU. The author discusses its origins, priorities and objectives. Particular attention is given to the evolution of regional policy and its reforms intruduced as a result of the EU enlargement. The author also discusses the objectives of new architecture of cohesion and structural funds for next multiannual financial framework.
