Abstract
Книга “Польща як периферія”, що вийшла друком за науковою редакцією одного з видатніших польських соціологів сучасності професора Томаша Зарицького, є вельми яскравим проявом пошуку в сучасній науці про суспільство нових методологічних орієнтирів. Ці пошуки були стимульовані крахом теорії модернізації як загальної пояснювальної та зорієнтовувальної рамки, що визначає погляд на процеси в сучасному світі.
