Abstract
In the article a situation of Passener Transport Companies on the transport market in the public transport in the period after the political transformation in 1989 was reviewed. In the synthetic terms conditions of transport market functioning were presented including the state aid for Passener Transport Companies aiming recovery their ability to compete on the market.
