Abstract
The most common phenomenon that entrepreneurs encounter while con-ducting business activities is insufficient funds. This issue becomes apparent even at the early stages of establishing a business enterprise. There are nu-merous sources of financing business enterprises whose aim is supporting business entities financially. However, obtaining such financial aid is often burdened with high costs which need to be paid later on. In view of this fact, many forms of state aid have been made available to entrepreneurs. The aim of this paper is presenting the forms of state aid granted to entrepreneurs by District Employment Agencies in Poland. In order to achieve this, the most important terms and conditions for granting such aid by District Employment Agencies, as well as their main benefits, have been discussed herein.
