Abstract
Improving the system of dental care to the population of Ukraine is urgent and acute issue, and providing dental care for children — in particular. At present, the prevalence of dental caries and periodontal diseases among the population of Ukraine has negative trends and moves to 100 %. Carrying out healthcare reform has withdrawn dental care for children from primary care chain of healthcare system, which limited its availability, and prevention became impossible. An example of successful cooperation between the dental faculty and outpatient clinics in providing care for children is described.
