Abstract
Realizacja Krajowego Programu „Rozpoznanie formacji i struktur do bezpiecznego geologicznego składowania CO[sub]2[/sub] wraz z ich programem monitorowania wykonywanego na zamówienie Ministerstwa Środowiska, przez konsorcjum złożone z PIG-PIB (lider), AGH, GIG, INiG, IGSMiE PAN i PBG weszła właśnie w ostatnią fazę. Wynikiem wspomnianego krajowego programu są informacje niezbędne do podejmowania w przyszłości przez Ministerstwo Środowiska decyzji koncesyjnych, zgodnie z wymogami Dyrektywy unijnej w sprawie geologicznego składowania dwutlenku węgla.Dotychczas ukończono prace w zakresie rozpoznania większości perspektywicznych formacji i struktur występujących w Polsce, a dla kilku struktur – potencjalnych składowisk wykonano analizy szczegółowe.
