The article deals with a brief history of performance-buffet-portrait plastics to feasts, assemblies, receptions for Russian monarchs. The main list of materials, which the figures were made of, are: lead, halva, rakhat-lukum, chocolate, beet and bread paste, ice, painted with natural oil color paints, Servian and Maysen porcelain. In the XVIII century the Russian love lyrics are being developed, and in Europe new pastoral works have appeared, both from Boucher and Falconet at the Sevres ceramic factory in France, and from Kendler in Germany at the Meissen manufactory, and between them there are the cocktail figurines of Catherine II in Peter the Great’s uniform coat on a white horse. To zoological and colonial styles it is reasonable to attribute single garniture elephants from various materials: jade, marble, granites, arranged in different orders. To unforgettable and invaluable Fabergé’s styles of the Romanov’s 300th anniversary period it is necessary to attribute also refined and exquisite botanical stone-cutting style of berries, lilies of the valley, forget-me-nots and other beautiful plants. Researchers debated which of the artists of the XIX century had an indelible influence on K. Fabergé.
