Postmodernism as linguistic and culturological phenomenon of the European society of the end of the XXth century

Abstract

The article explores the basic principles of postmodernism, which formed the cultural paradigm of the epoch in general, outlined trends in the development of science, philosophy, various forms of art, language, etc. It has been established that the variety of forms used by postmodernism has confirmed its readiness for communication, dialogue, and the achievement of consensus with any culture. It has been determined that the time of new realities, a new consciousness, a new type of thinking, as well as a new philosophy, science, culture and language has come with the postmodern age.
