Potential role of dental professionals in mass casuality& disaster events

Abstract

The number of reported natural and human- made disasters continues to rise worldwide. Although traditional emergency medical services center around medically trained and paramedic personnel, dental practitioners have many skills and attributes that are of vital importance in responding to a mass casualty situation.
