POVERTY LEVEL EVALUATION ON THE BASIS OF THE FUZZY LOGIC FORMALISM

Abstract
In this article the problems are considered connected with poverty rate evaluation on the basis of a fuzzy logic formalism on the example of the elderly population. A set of fuzzy variables and parameters of the membership functions is offered on the basis of the analysis of references on a poverty problem and justification of the calculation algorithm choice is also given. The statistical data on the Kaluga region are used for the evaluation of parameters of membership functions. The detailed description of an algorithm and examples of calculations are provided. The model allows various modifications for various groups of the population.
