Abstract
Microsoft Power Point - It is a program of slide show presentation officially launched on 22.05.1990. HISTORY: Power Point was originally developed by Bob Gaskins. Initially it was called 'Presenter'. Later it was renamed as PowerPoint. [1] Personal computers, overhead projectors, mobile phones, internet have been used technologically throughout the world in the class room for delivering lectures. [2] Studies have shown correlation between teacher’s background and attitude to use computers. Clerc and Mohammed found that age of the teacher and years of experience were positively related to the use of computers. But the studies show no correlation between age and predisposition to learn computers. [3] and [4] Regarding gender, males are more favorable to teach computers than the female teachers. Some studies have cited that correlation between the amount of knowledge in computers and positive attitude toward computers. [5] and [6] Sofranova has stated that in spite of having positive attitude towards the use of computers, in Russian schools only 8% of teachers were using computer
