Abstract
The article presents problems related to the competitiveness of tourist and recreational services in Poland. Attention was drawn to the dynamic development of the industry based on tourism and leisure development, related to appropriate promotion and customer service levels. The article also attempts to compare the level of competitiveness with respect to the prices of selected tourist services in Poland against other European Union countries.
