Pre-cleaningofsintering gasesby setting theinertialapparatus “VAV” in the collector clearance

Abstract
Technological features of sinter production in Ukraine, entailing huge emissions of dust and gases in the atmosphere were examined. The inertial apparatus, "VAV-250-ROS" was developed, designed, manufactured and installed in the collector of sintering machine №12 of PJSC "Dnipro Metallurgical Complex". This allowed to reduce dustiness of gases at the output of apparatus from 3.0 g/Nm3 to 0.92 g/Nm3, accordingly, the efficiency of the apparatus was 70%.
