Prediction and Scheduling of Maintenance by Condition Monitoring

Journal Title: American journal of Engineering Research - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue 8

Abstract

This work is concerned with the use of the system’s characteristics to predict the time to failure of machine, constantly monitored in a condition based maintenance system. A model was structured and defined input data of the system applied on the model after reaching the alarm limit specified. The result obtained from this study was successfully in predicting the time to failure of machines in the system. This method is highly recommended for an inspection based condition maintenance system.
