PREDICTION OF TRAFFIC VOLUME AT THE JUNCTION USING NEURAL NETWORK

Abstract
The article reviews the results of forecasting traffic intensity at the junction in Katowice. Data used for network learning comes from actual measurements of traffic and were recorded by a detector placed at the inlet junction. The results obtained were compared with the prediction of the actual data and verified. The purpose of the sudy is the feasibility and effectiveness of using neural networks in intelligent urban traffic management system.
