Preface: Multi-Dimensional Encounters with Migration

Abstract
In this preface, the importance of the concept of migration and its multi-dimensional structure are shortly analysed. Also, the relations between different dimensions of migration such as conceptional, local, international, global, psychological, political, juridical, and critical, are discussed. Kıral Uçar, Kükrer, and Uçar, as the co-editors of ViraVerita E-Journal: Interdisciplinary Encounters- Volume 8, introduce the articles published in this volume and their worthwhile contribution to the field of migration studies.
