Preparation of titanium-silicate Ti-SBA-15 catalyst

Abstract
Ti-SBA-15 catalyst was synthesised using the literature data (original modifications related to deionised water amount used in the synthesis process of those materials and to the method of adding tetraethyl o-silicate (TEOS) and tetraisopropyl o-titanate were introduced). During synthesis, the molar ratio of Si to Ti in crystallisation gel was subjected to changes within the range from 20 to 60. Next, the Ti-SBA-15 catalysts obtained were instrumentally tested using the following methods: UV-vis, IR, XRD and SEM to determine the structure of obtained materials and their characteristics.
