The study shows that subjects with severe OSA were heavier, had higher body mass index and a larger neck circumference as compared to without OSA. In present study male predominance was seen in the OSA patients were (63.3%) and in female it was (13.3%). This finding has been supported by a number of earlier studies that had shown that OSA was more prevalent among males. Conclusion: This study showed that OSA diagnosed on the STOP-Bang questionnaire. A STOP-Bang score of <3 will allow the healthcare team to rule out patients who do not have OSA. To prevent stroke in this general population of young due to OSA as it can reduce the risk of stroke and life style modification. Sleep apnea is a common disorder and if not recognized and treated due to stroke leads to significant morbidity and increased mortality. Particularly early recognition and treatment of OSA may improve cerebrovascular function. Treatment of OSA may represent a novel target to improve cerebrovascular health outcome.
