Abstract

The article reveals the essence of advanced teaching and determines its influence on the formation of subject geographical competences and competencies, which contributes to the improvement of pedagogical techniques and the creation of conditions for students' learning and cognitive activity, which ensures fruitful interaction between teachers and students. The purpose of the article is to determine the role of the method of advanced training in the formation of geographical competences and competences of students in geography classes. Scientific researches of advanced education were studied by S. Lysenkov, S. Goncharenko, M. Yarmachenko; Issues of competence in geographic education are devoted to the scientific researches of L. Vishnikina, I. Zhuravli, V. Spivakovsky, O. Tymets, and others. At the same time, the issue of advanced learning as a prerequisite for the formation of the subject geographical competences of students by scholars is considered tangentially. The teaching method, like all didactics, is experiencing a difficult period: there is a renewal of general secondary education; new concepts of education, standards, which describe not only the content but also the requirements for learning outcomes, are created; the socio-professional functions of the teacher are complicated, the question of methodical skill, the ability to creatively approach the organization of the educational process, the transition from the school of memorization to the school of thought and activities A compulsory component of such creativity is the mastery of teaching methods and pedagogical skills. Creativity of the teacher - an essential element of pedagogical activity. That is why it is important to learn and master the pedagogical technologies, which become the basis of the teacher's creative activity. Many years of experience in school as a geography teacher repeatedly "prompted" new and new technology learning. One of my favorite methods was advanced teaching as a prerequisite for the formation of objective geographical competencies and competencies.
