Abstract
The article discusses the principles of interpretive practices of L. Shestov. The emphasis is on philosophemes of critic, which allowed him to create an original conception of creative personality of the writer. Analyzed articles of L. Shestov, up to now did not include in the scientific area. In the center of attention — the works of Nikolai Gogol and Fyodor Dostoevsky, united by the idea of Shestov’s existentials of Russian literature.
