Prioritizing Geographical based Communication Oriented Risks and Associated Mitigation Strategies of Global Software Development
Journal Title: University of Sindh Journal of Information and Communication Technology - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
The global software paradigm brings many opportunities but with some complicated challenges. The most influential drivers behind these challenges are temporal distances, socio-cultural differences and geographical distances. Due to these challenges the communication, coordination and control issues arise. These issues badly affect the quality level, cost and schedule of the project. Due to these issues the risk management process becomes more complicated as compare to traditional software engineering. In this study a frame work will be presented to quantify the relative importance of communication oriented risks and corresponding mitigation strategies. A Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) approach will be employed in order to deal with conflictive, multi-criterion situations and also subjective expert judgments.
Process Mining Approach Towards Optimization of ERP Business Processes: A Case Study of Healthcare

Optimal Placement of Voltage Compensating Devices in a Smart Distribution Network: The Loss Sensitivity Factor Approach
This paper presents optimal placement of voltage compensating devices in a smart distribution network by deploying the loss sensitivity factor approach. The aim is to improve on voltage profile of the distribution networ...
Electric Supply Substation Simulation using ETAP Software
Electric supply substations are vital component of electrical power system that delivers electrical power from generating stations to consumers. Electric supply substation generally deals with high voltage and current ra...
Tridiagonal Iterative Method for Linear Systems
In this study, we propose a tridiagonal iterative method to solve linear systems based on dominant tridiagonal entries. For solving a tridiagonal system, we incorporated the proposed method with Thomas algorithm in each...
Introducing Learner Infrastructural Capabilities into Information Systems Success Model using E-learning
The study introduces learner infrastructural capabilities into the field of information systems success. The introduction of this construct in information systems success is important due to lack of consideration for the...
