Probiotics, Prebıotics and Synviotics

Abstract
Probiotics are living microorganisms that mean "for life" consisting of two parts as "pro" and "biota", and prebiotics are undigestible carbohydrates that increase the number and activity of colon bacteria and the effect of probiotics. Studies conducted in recent years show that probiotics may be effective on diseases of gastrointestinal system. By stimulating the proliferation of beneficial microorganisms in prebiotics, it has been shown that probiotic effect is helpful Another approach, explaining managing the intestinal flora, is using synbiotics. In this review, the importance of the probiotic and prebiotics in diet is emphasized and the studies done on this subject are summarized.
