ПРОБЛЕМА ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ ГЕНДЕРНОЇ НЕРІВНОСТІ ТА ДИСКРИМІНАЦІЇ У ВИЩІЙ ОСВІТІ: СВІТОВИЙ ДОСВІД

Abstract
In the article the problem of gender inequality and discrimination in higher education. The problems of the «glass ceiling» and «sticky floor» remain actual in the modern state institutes of education, plugging double standards in advancement of men and women. Gender science created the special term «escalator» illustrating a speed–up rate without due professional creativity for advancement of employees of sex of men. For women applying on career and salary advancement, other form of the artificial retaining is created down is «sticky floor». Gender mainstreaming policy in Germany has been analyzed, an important aspect of which is the adoption of the appropriate legislation and the appointment of public authorities responsible for its implementation. The stages of the implementation of the policy of gender mainstreaming into the institutions of higher education have been explained by the example of European University Viadrina.
